Reminising as I clean through my room- you rarely ever see them show up on ebay but does anyone else remember the girl size dresses for the historicals (and the original fashion show?) I went to a couple in my youth (and yes dressed like my doll (but sadly no pics=()

I went to the fashion show, too, with Molly. It was one of the first ones. I dressed the same as Molly, but in homemade clothes. I dressed in my Kit meet outfit for Kit's Care and Share Party, though...

Speaking of the historical clothes for girls, I saw a girls' size Kirsten summer dress and Molly birthday dress in Baltimore, but I couldn't get them for anyone on the board sadly!

I love the original dress like your doll line! We own Felicity's meet dress, Josefina's summer riding outfit & hat, Kirsten's school dress, and Addy's Christmas dress. They're all great quality, and my girls have been all over in them! I wish they'd bring some back. I know they're expensive, but even just 1 per doll would go over big in this house!

I have several of these from when I was young. I had Kirsten's winter sweater, hat, mittens and scarf; Kirsten's school dress; her nightgown; her meet dress; and her summer dress and hat. None would fit me anymore except maybe the sweater. They are in a box downstairs. Maybe someday if I have a daughter and she likes AG I can pass them on to her.

When I was very little my sis and I had Kirsten's meet dress (I have a pic from 5th grade in it) and Samantha's meet dress But these two were given to my cousins (=( they def don't have them anymore). I managed to keep Felicity's summer dress; Kirsten's wool skirt, St Lucia dress, birthday dress, summer dress; Addy's meet dress; Molly's christmas dress. They won't fit me anymore- bt they're great keepsakes. It wold really be nice if thtey were brought back since they obviously still use them for the modern fashion shows.

I jst found out recently my mom bought the pattern for Kirsten's meet dress and Molly's jumper set when PLeasant Company made them available- they should at least consider bringing those back.

I would love to see the girl-sized dresses come back! I have bid on several on eBay but have never won one.

They should at least make the Meet Dresses for the girl sized dresses and they should make from the smallest size to like a size 24, just in case a adult might want to dress like their doll and match their child as well. It would be a wonderful idea. I know I would either dress as Felicity, Samantha, Nellie, or Elizabeth. Being I collect for all of them. Just the Meet dresses should be made and nothing else.

My mother and I went to a very early AG fashion show. Unlike me, my mother is tiny (size 4!). So although I didn't dress like my doll, I asked M. to wear a special Christmas blouse I'd made her and dressed Leslie (my Molly) in the dress I made for her out of the leftovers. My mother is a good sport! Everyone wanted to know how she got a matching doll outfit. (This was in 1995 when not too many commercial patterns for AG clothes were available.) It was fun to see all the girls and dolls in their matching clothes but more fun to see everyone staring enviously at my mother and Leslie!

I loved these too. They were too expensive for my mother's liking when I was little, so I only had Felicity's nightgown which I wore until it was threadbare. My friend had Felicity's meet dress that she didn't wear at all, and I was pretty annoyed when she gave it away to someone else, and not me!

I recently bought a Samantha's Christmas dress from someone on the board in my size (I'm 5'0" and the 16 was actually big on me!) and wore it to AGP the day before Christmas eve. I brought along an AGT16 Traveling doll I was hosting and there were little girls there who were calling me Samantha! It was adorable. There's a picture in this album, #46: http://www.imagestation.com/album/pi...?id=2133543380 It made me look a little younger than I usually look, but at AGP I guess that's the idea.

My mom bought a pattern for a colonial dress and is going to make it in royal blue blue to match Felicity's Christmas dress. I don't have Samantha but my cousin has her, and if I don't have Felicity's dress I may have to borrow Samantha when I see my cousin at Christmas and match with her doll instead.
